Alimos Marina (Kalamaki)
Alimos Marina is the largest of its kind in Greece. It is located an hour or so away from the new Athens International airport will stop the Marina can be accessed either by taxi or by the public bus (E96) that departs every 15 min from the airport.

Water and electricity on the pier are delivered free of charge. Fuel is delivered at the pier by a fuel truck. Within the Marina perimeter there are several cafes offering drinks and a range of hot and cold sandwiches. The Marina also provides toilets and showers facilities. In the nearby area there is a large variety of restaurants including Greek, Italian and Chinese food.
The reef of Agios Kosmas which lies south east of the entrance of the Marina is difficult to spot at night even though there is a light buoy marking its position. Another danger of the rocks of Merminga which are approximately 4.5 miles south-east of the Marina in the direction of Cape Sounio.
Our yachts are located on Pier 7. Please moor stern to, and use the permanent mooring lines. Anchors are not permitted.
Ice can be obtained from the service station at the entrance of the marina and there are a number of supermarkets which can deliver groceries free of charge to the pier.

Yacht Charter Greece Athens Base Information – Yacht charter Skiathos – puresailing.gr
Our team in Athens is responsible for giving you an overview of your cruising area, inspecting the yacht for safety, and familiarising you with all aspects of your yacht. Before you leave the base, you will become familiar with:
- All of the safety equipment including: fire extinguishers, lifejackets, and first aid kit(s)
- Cooking and refrigeration systems
- The heads and showers
- Engine and regular check procedures
- The VHF radio system and proper mayday instructions
- All instruments, including the GPS
- All necessary charts and pilot books
- The halyards, winches, reefing lines and other rigging and controls
- The anchoring system(s)
- Dinghy and its engine
- All other systems particular to that vessel such as air conditioning / generators
All of our yachts meet the highest safety requirements, are very well maintained and undergo regular technical checks.
